The Banquet above the Chrome Horse on Feb. 4 will start at 7:00 p.m. Cost will be $25 dollars per person and $40 per couple. Dinner will be served between 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. with awards ceremony and hall of fame induction beginning after dinner.
Beer will be freely flowing all night, with a cash bar for everything else, and the DJ will be playing till the party is over.
Anyone involved in set-up can begin at 5:00 p.m.
Wear a tie, if you don't have a tie wear a sweater. If you don't have either talk to Kibby.
The Cedar Rapids Headhunters ended their season with a mark of 3-5. They missed the Division II playoffs by three points. The Headhunters move into the off season with a focus on recruiting and growing the club. They hope to field two teams next fall, but will need a good twenty new players in order to accomplish this goal. The Cedar Rapids Rugby Football Club is also starting a women's side this spring. They will also be offering 7's rugby to high school students. The Headhunters will resume playing this spring with practices beginning in February regardless of the weather. Look for the practice schedule and the match schedule here in about two months.
